Paolo Nutini Announced for Hogmanay

With 10,000 'Earlybird' Street Party Passes sold in just one day, organisers of Edinburgh's Hogmanay must be pretty happy. Even more so now that Paolo Nutini has been confirmed as a Very Special Guest to appear at Edinburgh's Hogmanay Concert in the Gardens ticketed event.

Paisley born Paolo, fresh from worldwide success with debut album, 'These Streets', is the first act to be confirmed for Edinburgh's Hogmanay, and in a special coup, will open the new, longer Concert in the Gardens event. He will also be the first ever act to perform at both the Edinburgh's Hogmanay and Glasgow's Hogmanay celebrations.

Futher announcements about the world-class line-up are expected in early November.

Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party Passes went on sale on 3 October, with over 10,000 selling in just over six hours. At just £10 per pass, party-goers can this year buy a maximum of six passes per transaction, up from the previous limit of four.

Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party is one of the biggest and best New Year parties in the world, attracting over 100,000 party-goers from around the globe.
