City Cafe
City Café is the ideal place to start your night and don't they just know it. Flyers for clubs pile up on your table after buying a round, but if you'd rather use them as beer mats or tear them into rude shapes, the professional bar-staff and 'out-there' DJs are the ones to ask when you don't know where to start. The happy hour between 5pm-8pm raises a smile among the regulars - mainly because the drinks prices are extortionate at all other times - and the all-day breakfast is commendable. There's even a pool table at City Café to bring the cafe up to full marks, as long as you ignore the grumpy old-timers sitting about waiting for the 50s to come around again.
