Arthur's Seat

St Margaret's Well, Anthony's Chapel and Hunters Bog... none of them are a patch on what Arthur's got. This volcano hasn't erupted for 350 million years, so it's probably safe to say that it doesn't pose too much of a threat to Edinburgh now, and it's a lava–free climbing experience. If you wrap–up warm and make the climb, the fresh air and exercise combination is bound to clear that hangover from hell — you could of course just drive here, admire the view from the warmth of your car and chain smoke rollies.
