George Street
Running parallel to Princes Street is the classy George Street. With a number of top–grade restaurants and the city's most expensive clothes shops, you can wander around in jealous awe or gulp and jump on in there. The street also accommodates three frankly unmissable statues, the most famous being that of George IV – erection since 1831 –.
