Royal Mile

Running from Holyrood Palace to the castle, the Royal Mile can keep you entertained for days. This world–famous street is at the very centre of Edinburgh life. It contains the Scottish Parliament Committee Chambers, the Festival Fringe Office, the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre, John Knox House, the City Chambers and five museums, one of which, the Museum of Childhood, is a must.
