We don't know what's happened lately, but this old Southside favourite seems to be flagging. It's still the same surroundings, all comfy booths attracting a wide range of families and relaxed students to tuck into some excellent food. Heck, it even dispels the notion that there's no such thing as 'a decent pint'. The problem is that the service is so slow. OK, the staff may be joining in with the laid back spirit evident among it's patrons but when it means you're conducting conversations over piles of glasses and plates, you're tempted to give them a hand.
