Nile Valley

Just as Uma knows kung fu, and Jordan knows tabloid headlines, the Sudanese chef at Nile Valley definitely knows his stuff. Then again, we haven't been to Sudan recently, so how would we know? The old tastebuds don't lie though –the food here tastes great, and if you haven't time to hang around, the street level café serves a selection of take–away dishes. There's no alcohol on offer, but you can bring your own and they won't charge you for pulling the cork out of a bottle. With limited African food available in Edinburgh it's good to see this place doing well.
