Teuchters

It may sound like a rare brain illness, but the name Teuchters actually means 'highlander'. But before you start beheading your fellow customers, take note that it's a far cry from the sporrans and broad swords of the Sean Connery movie. A mix of sleek silver stools, comfy retro sofas and chunky wooden tables means it's a weird hybrid of swanky New Town, studenty Old Town and down–to–earth Leith. Hence an equally frenetic crowd enjoying the good food, unusual beers and enough games to keep an amphitheatre of Romans happy... though you may have to settle for Connect 4 rather than gladiatorial combat. And there we're back to the swords again– what are you –obsessed?
