Traverse Theatre

The plays at The Traverse are probably best described as 'alternative,' particularly in its encouragement of new writing talent, but there's a lot more to this venue than a few plays. With an excellent bar and a great restaurant for your pre-show meals, The Traverse is its own night out. Even if the cultural side of The Traverse is a bit too much for you for one evening, the bar's still rocking. Otherwise you could just traverse the road and find somewhere else. Get it? Traverse the road? Ok, that was poor.
