Halo
Owned by Keith Murray, the son of steel and football magnate David Murray, Halo is as close to vogue as a bar can get. You'll be surrounded by mirrors, tiny pin-prick-lights and smooth leather interiors. You'll be eating luscious tapas, drinking inspired cocktails and surprisingly not being smacked for asking the bartender for a 'slow, comfortable screw against the wall'. Smooth tunes flow through a buzzing, yet au fait, crowd, as bottles of Bud are swigged alongside Manhattans. Halo doesn't try to be the last word in cool, it just is.
