The Last Drop

Cheerily, The Last Drop's name has nothing to do with drinking, but the fact that the last public hanging in Scotland took place on the square outside. So there's a factoid to impress your mates with. A dingy but charming pub, The Last Drop has cosy booths for couples and vampires alike. It's also located on the Grassmarket, which is crammed with pubs and restaurants, all vying for your money. A good stop-off before a night of clubbing, or just a good bet for when it inevitably starts pissing it down in the middle of the day. Hard to bag yourself a seat sometimes, mind.
