Traverse Bar

If there's a place to discuss poncy art and theatre, then this is it. Attached to The Traverse Theatre, which is host to plays showcasing new writing talent, it's chock full of luvvies, theatre goers, celebrities and drinkers alike. The bar is so long that it seems to trail endlessly off into the distance, like some sort of long, alcohol-laden yacht, and as a whole the Traverse is generously spacious. The music's reliable, the bar staff always seem jolly enough, and there's a decent selection of drink and food.
