The Blind Poet
Plush sofas, metal surfaces and cool furnishings are all happily missing here. Think tweed jackets with patches on the elbows, old comfy chairs, and worn-out carpets to get more of an idea of what The Blind Poet is all about. Small, intimate and comfortable, with famous posters on the walls, quotes from poets and philosophers kicking around the various blackboards, and beer-stained chairs, it's all about character. And this pub has oodles of it. This is the kind of place where you won't feel like a complete ponce for talking about something vaguely intellectual.
