Drouthy Neebors
Just around the corner from the Meadows, the recently renovated Drouthy's is always full of students and locals. There is a great selection of beers and spirits, all reasonably priced so you and your mates can afford a few rounds while watching the football on one of the many plasma screens. The seating is on two floors, so beware the staircase if you've had a few too many. It certainly isn't the most interesting pub in Edinburgh, but it's always a great bet for a few pints/glasses of white wine with the a gang of lads/lassies.
