The Steamie

Combining the old-fashioned pub look with chrome and the like sounds like a recipe for disaster, but somehow The Steamie just, well, works. Like haggis, the horrendous ingredients somehow combine to make something that'll keep you coming back for more. With a glass front for the voyeur in you, as well as a dark cavernous area at the back for the misanthropes, The Steamie caters for most tastes. There's excellent graffiti art inside, and it's not a bad place just to sit and have a pint either. There are also some smart cocktail deals and pool tables upstairs as well.
