You know when you're channel surfing and somehow end up watching Noel Edmonds' daytime drivel and depressing quiz shows with crap prizes, just because there's nothing else on? CC's is like the clubbing equivalent of that, popular only by default as there's no other club in Edinburgh devoted solely to the gay community. The two floors blast your typical cheesy music and the drinks are extortionate, but it's still packed to the rafters because there isn't much of an alternative. Usually frequented by the older crowd, who can get just a teeny bit excitable.
