Home to big guns, anthologies of Scottish history and royal jewels that make Tiffany's diamonds seem like knock-off QVC specials, Edinburgh Castle is the staple diet of Edinburgh. Even when inebriated, the big kahuna of Edinburgh's tourist industry can never go unnoticed in the city centre. Although a wallet-buster, it proves exciting enough for hyperactive kids and high enough for suicidal parents.
