Edinburgh Tattoo

During the Edinburgh Festival you'll probably have a minor heart attack around about 10pm every evening. Don't worry though, it's not the start of the apocalypse to end all humankind, it's just those people at the castle letting loose with some bad-ass fireworks after the Military Tattoo. Featuring brave regiments from all over the world, they march around in formation and dazzle you with their organisational abilities. Fear their perfectly synchronised marching. A big hit every year and on every night, the Military Tattoo is to the Edinburgh Festival what pickle is to cheese. A nice accompaniment but not essential.
