The Arts Café
It's been a long trip. You pull into Waverley Station and breathe in the distinctive city pong of hot road surfaces and traffic fumes. Before you can utter that familiar Starbucks–shaped syllable you are greeted with a board showing takeaway coffee for a quid. Any self–respecting caffeine addict should grovel at the door of the The Arts Café. With a mouthful of its rightfully 'yummy' home baking you could, if you were a bit rank, demonstrate that you are spitting distance from the station. This cheap, cute café makes the hike to bland chains as useless an exercise an 'Poking the Sleeping Drunk for Directions'.
