Falko Konditormeister

The name's a bit of a mouthful, but thankfully, the strudels and pastries at this brilliant little café and patisserie are much easier to get your tongue around. In case your German isn't past asking how to get to the Banhof, you might like to know that the name means 'Falko the master cake baker'. Located slightly out of the city centre in pleasant Bruntsfield, Falko boasts of finger–lickingly fresh goods baked every day, each quintessentially German and always delicious. The staff have a tendency to waffle on and on about the history and ingredients of each item while you're left salivating, but by umlaut it's worth it.
