The Pear Tree House

During the day, The Pear Tree is a drinking den without com-pear. At night, however, it can be unpearable. Pear with us on this one. Situated a stone's throw from the University, The Pear Tree is dark, delectable and justifiable. Huge overstuffed armchairs and TV screens constantly showing sport provide for a warm, boozy afternoon. By the evening though, the bar fills up and once the seats start to disappear you begin to wonder why you are paying so much for a beer. Unless you've been there all day that is: in which case you'll be so roundly smashed you won't care.
