An institution in Edinburgh now, seen as the hippest place to be when in the city. Even though it might not look like much on the outside (or the inside for that matter), trust us, it's just part of the cool, arty veneer to stop the riff-raff. Forever popular as a pre-club venue thanks to its great service and, oh holiest of holies, intact pool tables (a good sign that speaks volumes about the management and the clientele. It's a litmus test of a place that's even more accurate than clean toilets). A great place for celebrity spotting at festival time. Or even just a good pit-stop as you haul ass up the unforgivingly-steep Blair Street.
