Don't walk in expecting to find elegant displays of guava and pomegranate, and free flowing exotic fruit juices else you'll be soul-crushingly disappointed. It's a gallery, not a smoothie bar for crying out loud. The Fruitmarket Gallery aims for some more leftfield, minimalist exhibitions that are just about quirky enough to merit a viewing or two. Makes a nice change if you're fed up of seeing other more historical pieces in nearby galleries. And, on a slightly more comfortably lowbrow note, the café is amazing and the perfect place to mull over all the culture you've just lapped up.
