The Vaults Tour

Underground Edinburgh is quite the spiffing place - not many cities, barring Atlantis or that one from the Matrix, can claim to have an extensive labyrinth of caves and vaults underneath the surface. Far more intriguing than the over-hyped ghost walks (although there's still a lot to be said for those), these vaults lay untouched for 200 years so they retain a real historical mystery. For a meagre price you can get the full tour of this subterranean wonderland as well as a nice rundown of the history behind it. Beat that, Glasgow.
