Canny Man's
Canny Man's may resemble any UK old-man pub from the outside, but inside it is a veritable Ali Baba's cave of kitsch and character. The décor is reminiscent of an acid-tripped antique store and the entire establishment feels like it could be the setting for a Decemberists song. Although seeing anyone younger than 50 may be a rarity – it has a bit of a reputation for being 'selective' about its clientele – one review claims that it turned away a terminally-ill patient for being in a wheelchair. Anyone in the vicinity of Morningside should stop in for a pint and an old-man chat.
