Kalpna's
Kalpna's exterior is frankly hideous. And knowing that it's next door to Edinburgh Bargain Store, the Elysium of tight arses and students everywhere, you'd be forgiven for being sceptical of the food. But surprisingly, Kalpna's does some of the best curry you'll ever taste anywhere. That's doubly impressive, given that they don't even use meat in their curries. Yup, that's right. Cow-free curries can taste amazing, even to carnivores, and the all-you-can-eat lunch is particularly worth a look. Plus it's healthy. Bone us. Sorry - Bonus.
