Deadbeat Comics

Itchy found it appalling that it took dour years in Edinburgh to discover Deadhead Comics. Hidden on Candlemaker Row, this is the iconic comic shop: workers beat uncanny resemblances to The Simpsons' 'Comic Book Guy', the selection ranges from the experimental neo-manga and the most in demand graphic novels of the last few years to classics like Catwoman and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. But like a dweeb at the school disco, it feels almost as though Deadhead is looking to be overlooked by the masses, behaves awkwardly when a girl comes within 10 feet, and is hiding all of its beauty on the inside.
