The Cuckoo's Nest
So you've made it to the interval of a pantomime at the King's Theatre. You've chewed most of your arm off and now it's time for some sweet alcoholic relief. Ditch your hyperactive runt, flee from Ross Kemp's disturbing drag costume and head next door to the Cuckoo's Nest. Formerly The Stage Door, this two-floor pub comes with decent music, reasonable prices (especially for students) and a modern, yet laid-back feel. It may not be known for lobotomies or giant, Native American mutes, but who are we to say how your night might turn out?
