Hooray, it's North Africa shoehorned into a New Town basement. Step inside and prepare for an assault on the senses as this restaurant goes all out to prove its authenticity. Everything is intensely patterned in red and gold, there's Arabic pop and even the occasional belly dancer. Although the food is undeniably delicious, you pay slightly over the odds for the novelty of eating from fancy pottery, while getting a faceful of gyrating gut. Fairly deserted on Mondays and Tuesdays, when the dancers are presumably. shaking their respective things elsewhere.
