Le Monde

The restaurant section of Le Monde fares marginally better than, both its hotel counterpart and the club-cum-skank-parlour that lurks beneath its linoleum floors. There's still a healthy dose of imposing, pretentious décor and, despite not reaching the dizzying heights of other George Street luminaries; the food and service do the trick. Eat and gaze fondly at the motley crew of strangely-dressed eccentrics loitering around the bar area, while perusing the headlines in their complimentary newspapers.
