World of Bowling

You remember bowling. It used to be what you did before discovering the joys of alcohol. And like so many of the other joys of our youth (pogo sticks, Chupa Chups and Zoe Ball), it's richly rewarding on rediscovery. World of Bowling, part of the Corn Exchange complex, does the ten-pin thing just like you remember: bumpers for the kids, glow bowl evenings, automatic scoring with those slightly naff animations afterwards and plenty of lovely air hockey tables. If it weren't for the awful Girls Aloud soundtrack (honestly, kids these days), you could convince yourself it was 1995 again.
