The Earl of Marchmont
So, after months of renovations, The Earl of Marchmont is returned to us as a gentrified wine bar. Residual traces of its previous incarnation remain: mainly navigating the tight labyrinth of chairs, and the enormous mirror that squats on the rear wall. In fact, all that's really changed is the décor (browner) and the number of decorative wine bottles that adorn the walls. The prime location means The Earl will probably always be busy and £2.90 for a bottle of Peroni certainly does this small, but already popular establishment, no harm at all.
